Cookie policy

The cookie policy explains what cookies are and how we use them on our website. You must read this policy in order to understand what type of cookies we use, the information we collect with the help of cookies, and how this information is used.

Cookies are small files or parts of a file saved on the computer/mobile terminal of an internet user, consisting of letters and numbers and stored by the browser used for a better internet browsing experience. These files allow websites to retain and store useful information about the user’s preferences and may contain personal information such as a history of visited pages, user identification code, customized preferences.

A cookie is made up of two parts: the name and the content. The lifespan of a cookie is determined, and technically only the webserver that sent the cookie can access it again when the user returns to the site associated with that webserver.

Cookies cannot be used to transmit computer viruses or to run programs. When you access the site as a visitor, a cookie is sent to your internet browser and saved on your computer’s hard drive. You can block the use of cookies through the settings in the browser you use to browse the internet.

By using cookies, you will benefit from a better browsing experience on our website. When a user accesses our site, we store information such as: IP address, pages viewed, the site from which you arrived at our site, information from cookies and other technical data that we use strictly for the following purposes:

  • Monitoring access to maintain the security of the site and to detect potentially dangerous access to our site.

  • Analyzing traffic and traffic sources to our site, using analytics services in order to improve the services we provide and to coordinate the image/marketing strategy to reach our customers more easily.

All this data consists of statistical, anonymized data.

Cookie files may be in the form of session cookies or persistent cookies.

Temporary cookies – these are temporarily stored in the “cookie” folder of the web browser, which keeps them until the user leaves the respective site or closes the browser window (for example, when you log in/log out of an email account or social networks).
Persistent cookies – these are stored on a computer’s hard drive or another device (and generally depend on the preset life cycle of the cookies). Certain cookies are used only during a single session and are not stored after the user leaves the website, while other cookies are stored and reused every time the user returns to the respective website.
However, cookies can be deleted by the user at any time by accessing the browser settings, as shown below.

Cookies will remain stored on your computer or device until they are deleted or until they reach their expiration date.

Users of the site can control the use of cookies at the browser level, but if the user decides to disable cookies, this action will result in limiting certain features and functions on our website.

Some of the cookies we use are strictly necessary for our site to function and we do not ask for your consent to place them on your computer.

However, for those cookies that are useful but not strictly necessary, we will always ask for your consent before placing them.

However, if you do not agree with the use of any type of cookie, you can block any cookie through your browser settings.

The steps for the most commonly used browsers are:

  • If the browser is Google Chrome, access the Chrome menu located in the upper right corner, access “Settings”. Then choose the settings you want, pressing “OK”;

  • If the browser used is Safari, select “Preferences”. In that panel, select “Privacy”, and then make the desired settings, followed by “OK”.
